Video Capture Devices
With the advance in technology, the arrival of a video capture device is powerful to capture ID photos. A video capture device is capable of transferring a video signal from your camera, freezing that image and placing into the photo ID software. Image Capturing Device
Using your image capturing device can be fraught with difficulty. Ambient light, using a flash and a photo backdrop and different skin tones can all have an effect on your image. Using a feature in our software will allow you to edit the image after it has been captured to avoid poor exposure. Exposure simply means to allow the image capturing device to be exposed to the image of the scene. Image capturing devices are sensitive to light. If more light than required reaches the device, it will be over-exposed, and, thus a pale image is recorded. On the other hand, if insufficient light reaches the image capturing device, the image will be dark. Therefore, the camera lens must control the right amount of light that can reach the image capturing device.
Enabling PDA Data Capture
PDA data capture requires a gateway to be established in order to transfer data entered on a PC. The PDA capture device must be synchronized with the PC and contain compatible software to properly exchange files between the PDA and the PC. The PDA data capture feature is extremely useful for mobile applications where identity must be verified.
