The high-security Magicard Rio 2e prints a fully-customizable HoloKote card
watermark. This professional ID card printer is designed to handle all volumes
of card throughput. Now with a new multilingual Plug & Play driver, and
standard Ethernet, the Rio 2e is the professional's choice.
UltraDriver, the user-friendly printer driver for the Magicard printers is
now available in seven languages; English, Spanish, French, German, Italian,
Portuguese and Chinese. UltraDriver supports Microsoft® Windows® XP, Windows
2000, Windows 2003 and Windows XP.

HoloKote
HoloKote is a patented visual security feature
only available on Magicard printers. When selected in the printer driver, the
Rio 2e and Tango 2e print a daylight visible
security watermark that can be viewed when the card is tilted. A standard Ultra
Secure Key HoloKote watermark design is included with every
Rio and Tango printer. For highest security, a
custom HoloKote key can be programmed with a custom logo to produce a highly
secure watermark. There are no additional consumables costs required to print
HoloKote. Standard dye film is used to print HoloKote images on standard cards.
HoloPatch
HoloPatch cards combined with Holo K
ote provide a distance-visible security
gold seal allowing a security guard or colleague to easily verify badge
authenticity from a distance of six feet or more. HoloPatch card stock can be
ordered separately.

The Holokote watermark available only on Magicard printers, is
the most economical visual security for ID cards. It costs nothing extra to
print, unlike expensive holographic laminates. For highest security, a custom
watermark can be printed when a low cost Custom Key is specified.

warranty
3 years of free factory warranty service and parts is included
with every new Tango 2e printer. Up to 2 additional years can be purchased. A
free loan printer is available in the event a service center repair is required.

several hundred dollars for a similar warranty.
