This is the Magicard Ultima YMCKK full colour dye film, it’s the Magicard HE750. This is a YMCKK ribbon, which includes yellow, magenta, cyan, black resin and an additional black resin panel for reverse printing.

So with a dye film like this, you get all the colour you need for one side of your card and enough black resin to print on the other side. This film, is made for use with the Magicard Ultima.

As the Magicard Ultima is a retransfer printer you will also need a retransfer film to print onto the blank plastic cards. The Magicard HE1000RT is a retransfer film that will work with this ribbon.

The retransfer and dye film work together in a process called reverse printing. The design is printed onto the retransfer film in reverse, the retransfer film is them laminated onto the blank plastic card. This creates not only a firm printed method but also acts like a clear protective overlay.
